BALI (2) Water Gardens

On the way to Tulamben, our driver made a stop at the Royal Palace Water Gardens. The Gardens were beautiful with many fountains, statues, flowers and spring fed ponds.

This pond had stone steps all through it, so you could walk right out onto the pond and see the very huge goldfish.
Here is Harry with the bridge dragon, enjoying a momentary break from our uninvited guide.
Another shot of the spring fed pond.
Here I am on the pond again with one of the water spewing statues. And Harry in the photo below it, following the stone steps.

This is one of my favorite photos from the Water Garden. A single lotus flower. The photo was taken by Harry.

At the Water Garden, you pay a small entrance fee. When we walked through the gate, we were greeted by a guy in dress garb who walked around with us giving us the entire history of the place. While most people would likely enjoy that, we just wanted to take pictures and explore, like the other people were doing. He wanted a tip at the end of his tour, of course.
