On the way to Tulamben, our driver made a stop at the Royal Palace Water Gardens. The Gardens were beautiful with many fountains, statues, flowers and spring fed ponds.

Hi Kelli! So glad you liked the place in Tulamben! Sounds like you had an amazing trip! I miss Bali! I'd like to go back someday soon! See you soon!
I'm curious... please tell about the 'univited guide'. The pictures are beautiful! I'm so glad you had the opportunity to go on this trip!

At the Water Garden, you pay a small entrance fee. When we walked through the gate, we were greeted by a guy in dress garb who walked around with us giving us the entire history of the place. While most people would likely enjoy that, we just wanted to take pictures and explore, like the other people were doing. He wanted a tip at the end of his tour, of course.
Kelli, I have truly enjoyed your photos and written explaniations! Thank you for sharing . . .so now I have seen Saipan and Bali thanks to you and Harry! You both are to be commended for your beautiful photos. Thanks for sharing, I am enjoying the "fruits of your labor!" and have referred other to your site, especially when we all have cabin fever here in the midwest! :)Thanks for your time and talent! xo Heidi
